What is AppBet?
AppBet provides a free online service combining odds comparison and integration with your betting accounts, so you can select and place your bets on all major sports with a single app.
Are there any charges for this service?
No. AppBet is totally free to use. Placing your bet via AppBet is exactly the same as using the bookmaker’s own app, just simpler and quicker. You always use your own account and funds with each bookmaker.
Is AppBet a bookmaker?
No. We provide access to bookmaker accounts, but we neither offer nor accept bets directly, nor do we hold a betting licence. All transactions made through AppBet use your accounts with registered bookmakers, licenced and regulated by the Gambling Commission. We also ensure that all our operations and promotional activities are in line with industry best practice and Gambling Commission guidelines.

Offers and Promotions

Can I access bookmaker promotions through AppBet?
Yes you can. It would obviously make no sense to deprive you of the opportunity to benefit from any special offers, odds enhancement or other promotions, so we guarantee that you can always access these via AppBet. In fact, when a bookmaker is running a promotion worth looking at, we’ll let you know and factor it into our odds listings where relevant.

We will always make it clear if a promotion is run by AppBet or the individual bookmakers and the usual terms and conditions attached to each promotion will continue to apply.

How It Works

How do I register with AppBet?
Register with AppBet is free and simple, provided that you’re at least 18 years old. Just register and you can be up and running within minutes. To make full use of the app, you’ll also need to link your existing betting accounts or set up new ones.
I don’t have a betting account. What do I do?
As soon as you’ve completed the registration form and have accepted our Terms and Conditions, we’ll sort the rest. All you need to do is to select which bookmaker you want to bet with and, if you don’t have an account already, we’ll set one up for you using the information you supplied when you signed up for AppBet.
Can I use my existing account with a bookmaker?
So long as it’s with one of our partner bookmakers, then of course you can. The simplest way is to add them when you register with AppBet or alternatively you can add them at any time by logging into the app. You’ll obviously need your username and password handy for both these options.

The details of all your bookmaker betting accounts are encrypted and stored in a secure place where they can only be accessed using your personal PIN. This is so secure that nobody except you can access it, even the AppBet team.

We’ll never ask you for your PIN or password via phone or email.

How do I place a bet?
It couldn’t be simpler. Simply choose the sport you want, then select the event and check out the range of bet available. Choose your bet, select the bookmaker with the best odds and tell us how much you want to bet. Then you simply confirm the bet and we’ll do the rest.
Can I place a bet with a specific bookmaker?
Yes, you can place a bet with any of the bookmakers featured on AppBet, provided that you have an account with them. If not, setting up an account only takes a few minutes. Of course, not all bookmakers will offer odds for every betting proposition, especially for the more niche sports or lower leagues.
How do I know if a transaction has been successful?
Once a bet has been confirmed you will then see a Bet Confirmation page with the bet details on including the bookmaker bet receipt number. If there is a problem with your bet for any reason we will let you know. If you think a bet has been placed, but you cannot see it in your AppBet account, please contact support to confirm the details and resolve the situation if necessary.
Where can I see a list of all the bets that I have placed?
You can view a summary all your bets by clicking on bookmakers logo on the main page where you will be redirected to the bookmaker account page. If you want more detailed information and statistics, you may need to log into your account on the bookmaker’s own site.

Problem Solving

How accurate are the odds on AppBet?
All of the odds featured on AppBet are sent to us by our partner bookmakers in what can be classed as ‘real-time’. This is usually instantaneous, but technology may lead on rare occasions to a short delay. While we work hard to make sure our odds are always correct, this information is the responsibility of the bookmakers and we cannot 100% guarantee its accuracy, nor can we be held liable for any losses that result if the information supplied by the bookmaker is inaccurate or absent for any reason.

The most important thing you need to note is that you will never place a bet through AppBet with different odds to what you are quoted. If, when the bet is being processed, we find that the odds were incorrect or have changed, we will notify you and ask you to either accept or reject the revised bet.

How does In-Play Betting work?
While our systems are rapid, all sports move quickly and, because even real-time bets take a few seconds to process, the final actual odds may differ from those you are quoted. If this happens, and it’s not all that common, you will be asked to confirm your acceptance before the revised bet is placed.

Where an obvious inaccuracy is identified any open bets will remain live and they will be settled at the bookmaker’s revised terms. Where a bet has been placed on a count, line, score, total or handicap that is already known when the bet is placed, all bets will be void and stakes will be refunded.

What happens if an incorrect betting proposition is posted?
It happens very rarely, but with thousands of different bets to process each day, bookmakers occasionally do post incorrect betting propositions. If an incorrect team or participant is quoted, all bets will be declared void and stakes will be refunded. If the incorrect bet has affected other bets, based on the outcome of a championship match for example, the related bets may also be declared void.

Managing Your Accounts

What happens if my account balance is less than the amount I want to bet?
It couldn’t be simpler. Simply confirm your bet in the usual way and, if additional funds are required, these will be processed using the payment card registered on your AppBet account. The amount deposited will be charged to the card that was registered to AppBet. This of course depends on your ensuring that the relevant funds are available on your chosen card.
How do I Deposit funds into my account?
You don’t have a betting account with AppBet. Your accounts are held with the bookmaker itself, along with any deposits and winnings. What AppBet does do is track your account balance so that we can advise you whenever you don’t have sufficient funds to cover a particular bet. At this point you can either lower the amount you want to bet or allow us to top up the relevant betting account using the card registered on your AppBet profile.
How do I withdraw?
You can withdraw your funds from your bookmaker accounts at any time directly from the app. You’ll need to log into your AppBet account and then click on a bookmaker logo to access the account page, from here you can select either deposit or withdrawal from that chosen bookmaker. Some bookmakers may not allow you to withdraw to the card that you’ve registered with AppBet, especially if it is different to the one you have registered directly with them. If this occurs, you will be advised by a message at the point of withdrawal to contact the bookmaker directly in order to make the withdrawal.
I would like to bet directly with a bookmaker. Can I use the accounts that you’ve already set up for me?
Yes of course. It doesn’t matter if you opened the account with AppBet or if you already had it, it is a normal bookmaker account and you can use it to play directly.
How do I check the balance of my accounts?
Just log into your AppBet account and you can view the status of all your bookmaker accounts in your home page.
Can I change my username and password on the bookmaker’s sites?
Yes, your accounts with the bookmakers are just standard betting accounts, whether or not you opened them through AppBet. Remember to update your account details in AppBet though if you change them on the bookmaker’s own website or app. This will ensure there are no delays when you place a bet with AppBet.
Can I change my credit card?
You can change your credit card at any time, but please remember that you will need to contact each bookmaker to make the change also as we cannot do this. We strongly recommend that you use the same card for AppBet and all of your bookmaker accounts as this will help to ensure that all deposits and withdrawals are process smoothly. If you do not update the details with each bookmaker, we cannot guarantee that your bets will be processed without a delay.

Safety & Security

What security measures are taken to protect my details?
All your sensitive information, including your PIN number, payment details, and bookmaker account details, are encrypted and kept in our secure date store. You can only access your account and play once these security details have been entered.
What’s my PIN number?
As part of the registration process, you will choose a four-digit PIN that’s unique to you. This is a Personal Identification Number, which is used every time you want to access the app. Nobody except you will ever know your PIN, including our own staff.
I forgot my PIN. What should I do?
If you forget your PIN, you can reset it in the app. On the login page, click the ‘Recover PIN’ link; you’ll need to answer your password and security question correctly and, provided you get it right, you can then set a new PIN code. You‘ll be back up and running within minutes.
i forgot my password to the app. What should I do?
If you forget your password, on the login page, click the ‘Recover Password’ link. You will then be asked to enter your registered email address and then be sent an email to change your password. Please then follow the instructions on the email to reset your password. We strongly recommend you change your password to something memorable.
I have forgotten both my password and my PIN. What do I do?
Our system is designed to keep your information so secure that even if we wanted to, we could not tell you both your PIN number and your password electronically. To replace your existing PIN and password please contact customer support at support@appbet.com

Do you take measure to encourage responsible gambling?

While AppBet is not a licenced bookmaker, we do take responsible gambling very seriously. Like all of the bookmakers we partner with, we operate in line with UK Gambling Commission best practice guidelines and we are fully supportive of the www.gambleaware.co.uk campaign. We strongly advise our customers to only bet what they can afford to lose and never to rely on gambling as a source of income.

How old do I need to be to use AppBet?
We subscribe to the UK government’s 18+ campaign and, along with all of our bookmaker partners, we have strict guidelines in place to ensure that nobody under the age of 18 can access the service. If you are under 18, you cannot sign up for an AppBet account. In the highly unlikely event that anyone under 18 does succeed in opening an account, all bets placed void and any winnings will be forfeit.
How do I set Deposit Limits?
