There isn’t only top class racing this weekend from Ascot as over at Haydock we can look forward to a Grand National Trial as well as some exciting hurdle races. At AppBet we’ve taken an educated look at the market and picked out our top choices.
Priced at 2/1, the four-year-old has had a very strong start to his racing career. Winning his last two outings over timber, he stayed on well last time out to take a three-length victory ahead of Dino Velvet, and we think he has the ability to pick up another victory here.
If you’re looking for an in-form horse at a very decent price, then look no further than 12/1 shot Desert Cry. The Donald McCain-trained eleven-year-old comes into this race looking to land a hat-trick after winning two Class Three Handicaps. Upped in class for this race, he still could have a little to find if he is to be competitive here, but, he is definitely one to watch.
He may not have won over further than three miles, but Philip Hobbs-trained Kruzhlinin has a lot of support coming into this race, and priced at 7/1 he offers a lot of market value. He has shown strong form so far this season, winning at Haydock and finishing second at Kempton last time out. His stable has solid form coming into this race, and it’s worth having another bet on him here.
The Worlds End
Tom George trained The Worlds End comes into this race looking for a very competitive hat-trick having won his last two outings at Chepstow. He comes into this race as a 7/2 chance and looks as though he will have little to find if he is to pick up another victory here.
